Oregon Re-Bath Customers will experience a mold and mildew free bathtub and shower system with regular maintenance using an approved cleaner. Keep in mind that soap, shampoo, body wash and bath gels can leave behind a residue on the surface of the Oregon Re-Bath materials. This residue is porous and can allow mold and mildew to grow on its surface. Remember, mold and mildew will grow on dirt, because it is porous. To prevent mold and mildew from accumulating, the bath area should be cleaned once a week with one of Oregon Re-Bath’s approved cleaners, like common household cleaner Formula 409 or Windex. You can also purchase Re-Bath tub and shower cleaner at one of our showroom locations.
Using the appropriate cleaners and wiping the wall and tub surfaces down takes just a few minutes. No more scrubbing the tile and grout with a toothbrush or scrubbing a stained fiberglass unit with a tough sponge. To clean the sealant at the seams, simply moisten the area around the seams with one of the approved cleaners and then gently clean to remove any deposited residue, making sure not to press to hard
